Mardi Gras and ‘Love’ throughout the month of February

HALLANDALE, FL – Love was in the air on Valentines Day and continues on throughout February for Mardi Gras Casino. So far patrons have witnessed a special Valentine giveaway and some love and jazz on the beach. And they will definitely feel more love and ‘luck’ at the Jester’s Leap Year Jam. Mardi Gras made it a Valentine special for guests who attended an evening full of fun, entertainment, and hot slots at the casino’s Valentine’s Day celebration. Amused patrons watched a Tina Turner impersonator belt out her greatest hits that lead to the drawing of the “Love at First Win” contest. Rebecca S. of Hallandale Beach really felt the love when she was announced the winner of a 2008 Red Corvette.

On Saturday, February 16, Mardi Gras continued the love and brought it to the sand by teaming up with Love 94 and City of Hallandale Beach for the annual Love & Jazz on the Beach; providing shuttle services for concert goers and plenty of giveaways at the famous Bourbon Street Booth from beads, boas, frisbees, footballs, t-shirts and many more. Proceeds went to the Future Foundation, Inc, a not for profit corporation dedicated to providing educational and cultural arts experience for youth in Hallandale Beach.

Since it only happens once every four years, Mardi Gras wants to celebrate it with the Jester’s Leap Year Jam on Friday, February 29th. MG is extending their love to the Players Club members with Jester Jamboree bonus play, logo watch giveaways to the first 1,000 with their coupons and a dance party with DJ Hans spinning today’s favorite club hits in the Veranda. There will also be live entertainment with Jazz, Blues, Dance, Latin and New Orleans style music inside the casino. The showgirls will join jesters, stilt walkers and the Junkanoo Band Revue as they entertain patrons who will be treated with giveaways of beads, boas and more throughout the night.

Mardi Gras offers 70,000 square feet of casino excitement; over 1200 Vegas style slot machines including the new linked Progressive slots, action packed poker tables in addition to premiere greyhound racing.
