Mardi Gras Casino celebrates Leap Year with a Full House

HALLANDALE, FL – Wondering what people were doing with their one extra day of the year on Friday, February 29th? They were trying out their luck at Mardi Gras Casino’s Jester Leap Year Party. Patrons were treated to a night of luck, fun, live entertainment, dancing, hot slots, and plenty of giveaways. The celebration began quiet early and way into the wee hours of the night.

As early as Friday 10:30 in the morning, patrons lined up at the Player’s Club redeeming their bonus play and stayed throughout the day trying out their luck. Many took breaks for a sit down meal at the Bourbon Street Bistro or a quick bite at Café Orleans. Later in the evening, the first 1,000 patrons with their coupons in hand received a Mardi Gras logo watch. Organizers were pleased to see such a great turnout. “We are fortunate we have such loyal patrons and our events will only get better thanks to their support,” said Ann Zebrowski, Marketing Director. The extra day was also a reason to dance the night away. Out in the Veranda, world famous DJ Hans spun today’s favorite club hits on the famous Bourbon Street Booth while Corona Girls handed out beads to the crowd. Live music of Jazz, Blues, Dance, Latin and New Orleans style music serenaded patrons inside the casino. The Junkanoo Band Revue joined show girls, jesters and street walkers as the rest of the entertainment line up.

Mardi Gras offers 70,000 square feet of casino excitement; over 1200 Vegas style slot machines including the new linked Progressive slots, action packed poker tables in addition to premiere greyhound racing.
