Mardi Gras Casino & Gaming in the “Spirit of Giving” at KISS Country’s “Toys for Tots” Toy Mountain Benefiting Children in Need

DAVIE, FL – This holiday season, Mardi Gras Casino & Gaming laid the foundation for this year’s 99.9 KISS Country’s “Toys for Tots” Toy Mountain to benefit children in need on Friday, December 14, on the campus of Nova Southeastern University. The charity event took place all day long, but the Mardi Gras Marketing Team was there rain or shine first thing in the morning to kick it off, unloading their bus with hundreds of toys and quickly filling the base of the mountain. A majority of the unwrapped toys were donated by Safari Ltd., a leading manufacturer of innovative and education toys.

Mardi Gras believes children are the future, contributing over 40 million dollars to Florida Education since their grand opening in January 2007. This holiday season, they participated in Toys for Tots’ cause to make sure that no child is overlooked. “It is with great pleasure that Mardi Gras Casino is part of contributing and setting the foundation today to such a worthy cause for our community”, stated Ann Zebrowski, Director of Marketing.

In true Mardi Gras fashion, the team made sure they left behind more than just the toys for the children, they left plenty of beads for KISS Country to give out throughout the day to others who also contributed to the cause.
