Florida Casino Ushers in Year of the Rabbit

Mardi Gras Casino ushered in the Chinese, February 3rd 2011, celebrating the Year of the Rabbit, which symbolizes kindness, sensitivity and artistry with a Traditional Dragon Performance at 8:30 pm. The Dragon Performance which included a 50 foot colorful dragon costume and a drum ceremony was performed on the Veranda entrance to the casino and then on the dog track after the 7th race. Patrons were bedazzled with the show, which was a first rate performance by 45 members of the John Wai Kung Fu Academy of Plantation. Chinese culture was showcased last night in a splendid display of technique and artistry at Mardi Gras Casino.
