Student Design Contest 2012

Voting has ended - Winner will be announced Feb. 17th during the 2012 World Classic at Mardi Gras Casino Greyhound Racetrack.

Mardi Gras Casino has partnered with the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale offering a $1,500 scholarship for the re-design of their Historic Hollywood Racetrack Grandstand. Help us choose the winner of the Mardi Gras Casino 2012 Grandstand Design Contest from the two Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale finalists. Go to http://mardigrascasinofl.com/ or find one of the kiosks inside Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach from January 9, 2012-February 10, 2012 to vote for your favorite students' Grandstand Design. Voting will be weighted equally between public voting (online + onsite totals) and our Mardi Gras judges. The student group with the highest vote total will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and the opportunity to see their design for our historic grandstand come to life. The second place winner will be awarded a $500 scholarship. In support of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Mardi Gras Casino is donating an additional $1,500 to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale's education foundation, AIFL-EDMC.

The winner of the 2012 Student Design Contest will be announced and awarded their prize during the 2012 World Classic on February 17th, held at the Mardi Gras Casino Greyhound Racetrack.
