DoublingYou may have the option of increasing you wager by doubling" after receiving your first two cards. To double, you must match the amount of your original bet and receive only one additional card. Card requirements for a double are determined by house rules.
InsuranceIf the Dealer's "up" card is an Ace, you have the option of making an "insurance" wager. You may wager half of you original bet that the dealer's down card has a value of 10.
SurrenderYou have the option of surrendering your "2-card hand" for one-half of your wager amount.
Splitting PairsIf you are dealt two cards with equal value, you have the option of "splitting" them into two separate hands. A split is simply two hands played separately. To split, you must match your original bet. Split Ace play, how 10 pairs are split an the number of re-spilts are determined by house rules.
PushIf you tie the Dealer, it is a "Push". You neither win nor lose.
BlackjackIf the first two cards you are dealt total 21 (any 10 value card and an Ace)
